NEW YEAR IN PINUYA VILLAGE

The Pinuya village of the Huni Kui people located near the city of Tarauacá state of Acre, 400 km from the capital Rio Branco, has for many years been strengthening and expanding its culture and tradition of its people, are in a special moment where the Indigenous Land Colony 27, has been developing Ecotourism and Ethnotourism in its village, the community has its doors open to receive tourists from Brazil and around the world to have an unforgettable experience and be able to experience all the natural and ancestral wealth of the Huni-Kui people and the beauties of the Acre's Amazon forest.

Aldeia Pinuya is the smallest indigenous land in the northern region, it has been working over time with the reforestation of degraded areas since the TI was a farm, with great dedication from its leaders, the shaman Kupy Huni-Kuin and the chief Assis Kaxinawa together with the participation of the whole village, they are developing their traditional culture by planting various species of sacred medicine in the Pinuya village medicinal park.

The entire village will be celebrating this time, with great joy we invite everyone to the birthday of Chief Assis Kaxinawá, where he will celebrate another spring of life with many traditional Huni-Kui dances and singing in the village's sacred temple with the participation of musical group Pinu Huya Kenya.

We can expect from the experience a lot of Healing and Joy of the soul with various activities and traditional games such as: Txara (bow and arrow), Binu Ureã (spear throw), Atsa Betsea (Macaxeira game and lots of traditional Huni Kui dancing and songs following a schedule.

In a special moment, we will participate in Body Painting with Jenipapo giving form and meaning to the participants in the form of drawings (Kene) and graphics all over the body, without contraindicating an organic and natural product.

Every night of the experience, ceremonies will be held with Nixi Pae (Ayahuasca) in the village's terreiro or temple (Shubuã), conducted by shamans and chiefs with the participation of women's strength with the musical group Mawa Isa Keneya.

Come be part of this magical experience in the Pinuya village, celebrating the New Year with love, peace and health with all the beauties of the Amazon rainforest in Acre, firmly receive the enchantments of the sacred medicines that inhabit it, Betxe Shekea (eye drops), Nixi Pae (Ayahuasca), Reshke (snuff), Raukui (herbal bath), and Kãmpum (frog vaccine), which bring healing to the body, spirit and thought.

19:00 - Round of conversation and presentation with the village leaders and reading of the program of the experience.

2nd Day 12/28 - (Wednesday)

06:30 to 8:00 - Breakfast.

08:30 - Body Painting.

13:00 - Continuation of Body Painting

18:00 - Dinner

21:00 - ANNIVERSARY CACIQUE ASSIS KAXINAWÁ, Cultural Manifestation (Katxa Nawa) With lots of dances and singing filled with caiçuma and lots of joy.

4th Day 12/30 - (Friday)

04:00 - Kambô Frog Vaccine (Kãmpu)

08:00 - Ecological Trail with medicinal herbs baths.

12:00 - Lunch

13:00 - Free afternoon

18:00 - Dinner

21:00 - Traditional Ceremony with female strength Hunikuin. Ceremony with the Conduct of Women (MAWA ISA KENEYA).

5th Day 12/31 (Saturday).

08:00 - Breakfast.

09:00 - Huni Kui Traditional Crafts Fair.

12:00 - Lunch.

14:00 - Start of the big Katxanawa New Year's Eve party in the village's arena, filled with caiçuma and many traditional dances and singing.

18:00 - Dinner

21:00 - Continuation of the New Year festivities, Traditional Ceremony with the Sacred Medicines (Nixi pae) and Other Sacred Medicines.

4:00 - Baptism of the Hapayaki Pepper.

6th Day 01/01/2023 (Sunday).

08:00 - Breakfast.

8:30 - Morning Free.

12:00 - Lunch

15:00 - Visit the Handicraft and Indigenous Items Shop.

18:00 - Dinner

20:00 - Round of conversations with the villagers and farewell to the experience.

7th Day 02/01/23 (Monday)

8:30 - Return of visitors to their place of origin.
